A New Room!

I'm proud to say that after 2.5 years of sharing a room, I am now loving having my own room again. Hooray! While I've loved sharing a room, there is nothing quite like having your own space. This last week I had LOTS of spare time to decorate my new bedroom and the apartment. Here are some pictures of what I did. I'm super excited and I love it! 

 This is my desk. I'm in love with it. It's huge and I can do my sewing projects and crafts on it with lots of room to spare. There are still a few things I'd like to add to the top shelf to complete it. 

 This is my photo wall. All of pictures I've taken and a cute way to display them. It's nice because I can change it up as I take new pictures and it's cheap :) 

 These two pictures are of the fabric covered canvases I made. Again super cheap and super easy to change up as my tastes change. I wish the lighting had been better so it didn't look like I had bars on my windows. Haha. 

 This is my current favorite shelf on my desk. I'm not even sure why I like it so much except that I think it's adorable, if I do say so myself.

This is the top of the bookcase and I could use a little help finding other things to put up there. The 70's makeup case was my mom's and the handkerchief in the memory box frame was my great grandma's. I feel like I need something else sentimental or handed down? Not sure yet what that is but I'll figure it out :-) 

Can I just say how much fun I think decorating is? I'm not sure I'm really that great at it, but I love imagining the potential an empty space has. It's really fun for me. And a great way for me to fill my time. I'll have to post a picture of the picture cluster I did above my television. I love it lots and lots!!!
