I took a long weekend trip to DC for my birthday to play with my siblings that live there.
The first night I stayed at my soon-to-be-sister-in-laws house and then went into the city with my brother to hear Mitt Romney speak. It was really interesting and motivational. What an excellent speaker!
After that my sister came up to DC with her kids to pick me up and go to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Totally cool! (and totally free!!!) Then we continued on to her house where I spent the remainder of my weekend.
It was full of shopping and playing with the nephews and watching movies in their awesome new media room and me being spotlighted at FHE and birthday cake!!! (Mia said she loved me because I play with her and put makeup on her :) haha)
I celebrated my birthday with all my friends in different ways. I went to dinner, had sleepovers, and hung out with everyone and felt loved. :-) So happy 28th to me!!!
Then I got 2 new nephews. First came Keifer (born on the 24th.... coincidence? I think not lol)
And then came Aksel...
He is sporting the lovely "je suis un rockstar" onesie I got him. I mean, really? That shirt screamed his name. How can this kid not grow up to be a rockstar??? Haha.
