SNOW

I think snow can be absolutely gorgeous. But when you live in a city with so much traffic (both foot and vehicle) it gets really gross, really fast.

Exhibit A:



Slushies. Ankle deep (at least), ice cold, brown nastiness on every corner.

Thankfully I have the below so I don't have wet feet....

How am I supposed to board my bus with piles of snow waist high? Or sometimes.....



One floor high!!! Poor carnegie deli.... If it was clean I might think that actually looked fun. But, alas, it is nasty.

BUT sometimes people get creative with the waist high snow....



And you just have to respect the ingenious beer cooler. So utilitarian.

And sometimes it makes wicked cool designs on windows.....



So while snow is still not my favorite and I still hold firm to my belief that snow should be visited but not lived in, it's not ALL bad. Right???
